To brand more storage space available, use the storage-management features of macOS Sierra or later.

  1. From the Apple carte du jour  in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. Then click Storage to come across the amount of storage space bachelor for your data.

  • Make certain that your Mac is using macOS Sierra or later, which includes space-saving features like detecting indistinguishable downloads in Safari; reminding yous to delete used app installers; removing erstwhile and unused fonts, languages, and dictionaries; and immigration caches, logs, and other unnecessary information when storage space is needed.
